What Tele does, and what it doesn't
Tele opens one window from another Mac as a real window on this one.
Tele opens a single window from your other Mac on the Mac in front of you. It's a real window of its own: you can move it, resize it, minimise it and reach it with ⌘-Tab. You use it with this Mac's keyboard and mouse.
What you need
- macOS 26 or later on both Macs.
- Both Macs on the same network.
- On the Mac that shares its windows: Screen Recording and Accessibility.
What Tele doesn't do
- It isn't a remote desktop. It opens windows, not the other Mac's whole screen. For the whole screen, use Screen Sharing, which is built into macOS.
- It doesn't reach a Mac far away. Tele has no accounts, no cloud and no relay server, so it can't connect over the internet.
- It can't send files yet, and it can't move a window to a third Mac.
