I can't hear the other Mac

Check which sound mode is on, and which device the app uses.

Tele has two kinds of sound.

• Tele Speaker plays everything from the other Mac. It needs setting up once.
• App sound plays only the shared app, and works when Tele Speaker is off. Each window can be muted.

Check these

1. In Settings › Sharing on the other Mac, app sound is on.
2. The window isn't muted.
3. Tele Speaker isn't set to Mute for that Mac.

A call app stays silent

Apps that pick their own output device keep using it. Set the app's speaker to the system default.

Only one Mac can hear another's Tele Speaker at a time.
