A window feels slow
Open the diagnostics panel to see bit rate, frames and latency.
Each window has a diagnostics panel. It shows the window's bit rate, frames per second and latency.
For comparison: with the viewing Mac on Wi-Fi and the sharing Mac on a cable, we measured about 40 ms from a frame on the other Mac to the screen in front of you.
If yours is much slower, try the viewing Mac closer to the router, or the sharing Mac on a cable.
Over Wi-Fi, sound can be about 100 ms behind. That's fine for calls and music, but not for lip sync with video from that Mac.
If it stays slow, write to us and include what the panel shows.
